Colts Registration Days

Registration for the 2010 season

Notice to members and potential members

Registration of juniors (boys and girls) for the 2010 season is now open. Registration can be made in two ways.

1. Direct contact with our database manager
WE STRONGLY ADVISE REGISTERING, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BY THIS METHOD
New applicants. Registration forms for new applicants can be obtained by snail-mail or as e-mail attachments from Christine Gale at christinefgale@aol.com. They will also be available at the Club office and at the registration meetings.
Renewals. Forms for renewal of juniors who were members in 2009 are available for downloading on request from Christine Gale at christinefgale@aol.com.

2. Registration at the Clubhouse
Renewal forms and new application forms will also be available on the following registration days at the Clubhouse. Please note that there is no need to bring kit as there will not be any coaching on these dates

Sunday 18 April: between 10h00 and 12h00, for Under-11s, 12s, 13s, 14s and 15s
Sunday 25 April: between 10h00 and 12h00, for Under-6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s.

Important News (05/05/2010)

Please note that registrations for the following age groups are closed: U6s, U7s, U9s, U10s and U12s.

The U8 age group is open only for waiting list.

A limited number of places is still available for the U11 age group. Acceptance has to be subject to availability on the day the application is received by email or by post..

There are still places available in the U13, U14, U15 & U16 groups also for Girls group.

In making your application by either option, please be aware of the following:.

  • New applicants are required to provide documentary evidence of age.
  • To be a member and therefore qualified to play, the fee has to be paid on registration.
  • The Club operates a fund to support those who may be unable to pay part or all of the subscription. Membership is free to those applicants who are eligible for free school meals. If your child is not eligible for free school meals, but you have difficulty affording the membership fee, then please contact Bill Travers (020 7350 1745) for details on how to apply to the fund.
  • Please note that neither issue of a form nor acceptance of a subscription will be deemed to be an offer of membership. We may be over-subscribed in any age group, in which case any subscription paid will be refunded.
  • Your child's age group is determined by their date of birth. Thus, if it is between 1 September 2003 and 31 August 2004, inclusive, which is the youngest we can accept, then they will be U6 (school year 1), and so on up to U16 (1 September 1993 to 31 August 1994, school year 11), which is the oldest.
  • Notification of this announcement has been sent by e-mail to the parents/guardians of all colts who were members in 2009 for whom we have valid e-addresses. If you have not received a copy by that route, it means either that we do not have an e-address for you at all or, if we do, it is invalid. In such cases, it would be helpful if you could advise Christine Gale at christinefgale@aol.com accordingly.

Please Note:

We now (08/02/10) realise that the application form for this year omitted to mention that there is a discount of 10% available to all those applicants who are already a member of another section of the Spencer Club.  If your application falls into this category and you have already paid the full fee, please contact us to discuss reimbursement of the over paid amount.

If you have not yet paid, please make the appropriate deduction and mail a cheque for the net amount together with the completed application form to Christine Gale

Thank you for your cooperation
