Spencer Hockey Club won the Watson Bowl, the prize for the Mens London league club of the year, last night at the prestigious London league awards evening held in the city.

The Spencer Sunday Cafe will be opening on Sunday 20th April from 9.30 til 11.30am serving tea, coffee & snacks......

& we hope to get to £1000 by the time money pledged has been collected....

An evenly matched game was played on our new Astro on a very cold Friday the 1st of Feb between ATA and Spencer all stars lead by Technical Director (TD) Paul Askew. ATA won the contest by scoring in each half and overall looked the better drilled outfit. Plus they were generous enough to give us three players so that we could play with 12! What confidence! Cold weather kept the crowds away but a few faithful were there! Everyone enjoyed the home made curry and samosas made by supervets chef Nima. We hope to make this at least an annual event and there is even talk of a hockey match!
